ATTENTION: Capital City & Sidney Fire is closing as of October 1, 2024.
Why? Capital City & Sidney Fire has undergone a merger with Cantec Fire Alarms Ltd. over the last two years, and the time has finally come to relocate into the greater Victoria city limits. Our recharge facility will be designated to internal operations only and we will not be open to walk in traffic, outside customers and clients in which we have established contracts with. Attempts were made to keep this satellite recharge facility alive but unfortunately the time has come to close. Our Story
Capital City Fire and Safety offers more than 60 years of combined experience in the industry. Our professional technicians test your fire alarm, emergency lighting, and sprinkler/fire suppression systems to ensure that if they’re ever needed, they’ll do the job. We also inspect your portable fire extinguishers, repairing and replacing as required.
We operate a Transport Canada-approved hydrostatic test facility. We are also up to date on all codes and can make sure your systems are in compliance with local authorities and regulations.

On some level, we are all responsible to assist those in need.
Capital City Fire firmly believes in “paying it forward” assisting with
social programming.
Choosing to tie support to our industry, we proudly offer financial aid
to the BC Professional Fire Fighters Burn Fund.
Providing support to burn victims and families, conducting burn prevention education, and other related services, the Burn Fund will receive a donation for every smoke alarm sold and installed by Capital City Fire and Safety.
